There’s a lot of talk about sustainability in the promotional products industry. While it may seem like an obscure concept, it’s actually not. Rather, sustainability is integral to a responsibly run business. With that in mind, what does sustainability really mean within the context of branded merchandise?
To find out, QCA is hosting the webinar “Sustainability For The Promotional Products Industry” on Monday, April 13, 2pm ET / 11am PT. We’ll be joined by Larry Whitney and Dr. Mary Whitney, Whitney & Whitney Consulting Group, who will give definition to the complex topic of sustainability and how it fits into a company’s existing corporate social responsibility program. They will also provide building blocks for QCA’s future 2020 sustainability webinars on chemicals, products, packaging and production processes.
Larry Whitney is a partner with Whitney & Whitney Consulting Group. Prior to starting this consultancy in early 2020, he was director of global compliance for QCA Accredited Supplier Polyconcept, one of the largest suppliers of promotional products in the world. Connect with him on LinkedIn and follow him on Twitter.
Dr. Mary Whitney is the director of sustainability at Chatham University, where she teaches in the Falk School of Sustainability and the Environment and has led the university’s sustainability initiatives for the past 15 years. She holds a doctorate in Sustainability Education from Prescott College, and her research centers on organizational learning. She is also a partner with Whitney & Whitney Consulting Group.
