HALO Branded Solutions Joins QCA Distributor Advocacy Council

Quality Certification Alliance (QCA), the promotional products industry’s only independent, non-governmental accreditation organization, announces today that HALO Branded Solutions has joined the Distributor Advocacy Council. QCA, founded in 2008, created the Distributor Advocacy Council (DAC) in 2012 to recognize the fact that compliance solutions are best done as a collaborative effort between suppliers and distributors. QCA, in partnership with the DAC, is raising the bar for solutions to provide supply chain transparency, and answer the increasing amount of questions from Fortune 100 companies about product safety and quality. Adding HALO Branded Solutions, a Top 10 Distributor in the Counselor Distributor Top 40, is a key step in the partnership effort. “Our customers are rightfully entitled to safe, high-quality products produced in a socially responsible way. Purchasing from QCA-accredited suppliers is one more way we can ensure that. We’re excited to be a part of the DAC and be an integral part of forward movement for the promotional products industry. Our collective efforts are having a positive impact on the credibility of our industry.” said Marc Simon, HALO CEO. Jeffrey P. Jacobs, Executive Director of Quality Certification Alliance, adds, “Adding HALO Branded Solutions as the eleventh member of our Distributor Advisory Council is not only a win for the promotional products industry as a whole, it’s a win for brands and consumers everywhere who have an expectation of safety and compliance in the products and processes by which they are produced. The choice to improve a design or a process because it makes something safer is important and something we’re all committed to. Safety, compliance and social responsibility aren’t new, but they are the new normal. It’s not just good business, it’s the way we do business.” QCA is recognized by members of the Distributor Advocacy Council as the industry standard. Its mission is to elevate the standards by which firms that import and/or manufacture products are consistently delivering safe, high quality, socially compliant and environmentally conscientious merchandise. Together the Distributor Advisory Council and QCA-accredited suppliers are forming a new level of collaboration in this industry-changing effort, which is effectively the only way to ensure supply chain transparency and control. HALO Branded Solutions joins 10 members of the new, recommitted DAC group that will continue to work with QCA-Accredited suppliers to create a new level of collaboration that effectively ensures supply chain transparency and control. Our other DAC members include...

SwervePoint Joins QCA Distributor Advocacy Council

The more companies that advocate product safety, compliance and responsibility, the better—and that’s why we’re excited to welcome SwervePoint to our Distributor Advocacy Council. Because compliance solutions are most effective when created as part of a collaborative partnership between suppliers and distributors, Quality Certification Alliance created the DAC in 2012 to raise the bar for solutions that provide supply chain transparency and answer an increasing number of questions from Fortune 1000 companies about product safety and quality. Boston-based SwervePoint, named by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the 50 Fastest Growing Women-Led Businesses in the U.S., joins our existing DAC members as we create awareness not only of existing safety and compliance problems, but also the solutions we can implement to make safer products a top priority. “We’re excited to join the DAC and be an integral part of making products safer for our customers and end users,” says Juli Sinnett, Principal at SwervePoint. “It’s rewarding to know that our collective efforts are having a positive impact on the promotional products industry. We are glad to be a part of helping ensure safe, high-quality, socially compliant and environmentally conscientious merchandise.” Jeffrey P. Jacobs, Executive Director of Quality Certification Alliance, says SwervePoint is an ideal addition to the DAC because of the company’s ongoing commitment to product safety and compliance. “To have SwervePoint as part of our Distributor Advisory Council is another step forward for the promotional products industry as a whole,” he says. “It’s a win for brands who have an expectation of safety and compliance in the products and processes by which they are produced. Safety, compliance and social responsibility aren’t new, but they are the new normal. SwervePoint walks that walk every day in our industry.” SwervePoint joins 9 members of the new, recommitted DAC group that will continue to work with QCA-Accredited suppliers to create a new level of collaboration that effectively ensures supply chain transparency and control. Our other DAC members include A Brand Company LLC, Bensussen Deutsch & Associates, Inc., The Image Group, Leaderpromos, MadeToOrder, Overture Premiums & Promotions, Shumsky Enterprises, and Sunrise Identity.
