Last week during Promotions East, Jonathan Isaacson, president of Gemline, gave the keynote, “The New World! Selling In An Interconnected, Hyper-Competitive and Globalized Economy,” where he explored how the great recession has affected the promotional products marketplace. He also dove into how rapid technological advancements, new compliance regulations and a changing Asian landscape have made the promotional products industry even more complex and more challenging.
It was a great opportunity to hear from one of the true industry thought leaders on the changing global economy, what is driving these changes and the adjustments we all can make to not only survive but also thrive in the coming years.
